Entrada provides the next generation of clinical documentation and data distribution replacing traditional dictation and transcription with a simple, fast, and more affordable application that even enables physician dictation to automatically populate structured data fields in their clinical information systems. Entrada interfaces with daily schedules and census information to capture all relevant demographics and create patient work lists. Doctors only need to dictate the relevant portions of the encounter such as progress notes, op report, H&P, etc. The dictation is automatically routed to a powerful voice recognition processor to be converted into a draft report. An editor then quickly reviews the information and finalizes the work. Once completed, the final note is automatically inserted into the clinical management system or data repository for review and chart completion.
Multi-Routing Functionality
Data may be split into multiple streams to share documented clinical notes on services performed at the point of patient care with multiple entities simultaneously.
For example, when a physician completes an op report after performing surgery at a medical facility, the facility needs a copy of the report for facility fee billing and the physician’s office needs a copy for the professional fee billing. Reports dictated at the hospital or surgery center are routed to the doctor at his home clinic or another remote location for electronic signature. Copies are then routed to the physician’s billing and medical records department for professional billing, and also back to the facility for insertion into the relevant record to support the clinic charting and billing. This process is done automatically with no staff involvement from either the physician’s office or the clinic.
Multi-Routing functionality directly increases productivity and quality of patient care by eliminating delays in transmission of time-sensitive information, reducing labor costs, and dramatically shortening the billing cycle.
EHR Integration
Clients customize the way data is imported into their Electronic Health Record. Documents can be formatted and delivered in the client’s preferred file format as a single document. Dictation can also be structured and tagged to populate discrete fields in an EHR.
